Skeptic and comedy writer Tim Wick returns to the Planet with our first non-fiction recommendation — a memoir of the Apollo 13 mission by Jim Lovell (astronaut) and Jeffrey Kluger (journalist) — then presents an original sci-fi tale that prompts a discussion of the psychology of conspiracy fiction.

phillip andrew bennett low is a Chinese-American playwright and poet, storyteller and mime, theatre critic and libertarian activist. His solo performances have won acclaim from Minneapolis to Chicago, DC to LA -- even as far as Melbourne, Australia. He was the co-founder of the Rockstar Storytellers (a supergroup of bestselling Twin Cities spoken-word artists), founder and producer of the touring theatre troupe Maximum Verbosity, and currently hosts what he believes to be the country's only recurring open-mic dedicated to speculative fiction, The Not-So-Silent Planet. He has published a book of political humor, Indecision Now! A Libertarian Rage.

Ben San Del has written and produced eight shows for the Minnesota Fringe Festival, including the encore-winning plays Apple Picking, A Nice Guy's Guide to Awkward Sex, and Minnesota Middle Finger, and the one-man shows Fiddlestick Conundrum, An Agony of Fools, and Animal Cracker Genocide. He was a member of the performance troupe the Rockstar Storytellers and, as a stand-up comic, a past winner of Acme Comedy Co's Funniest Person in the Twin Cities contest.
